Student Finance
Sixth Form students may access finance in a variety of ways.
16 - 19 Bursary
Applications to the fund are invited from young people who are eligible.
Applicants must be under 19 years of age on 31 August in the academic year in which they start their programme of study. Where a young person turns 19 during their programme of study they will continue to be supported to the end of the academic year in which they turn 19 or until the end of their programme of study, whichever is the sooner.
The criteria for a free school meal entitlement which are subject to change are available on the Suffolk County Council website.
ENDEAVOUR CARD
Sixth Form students are not entitled to free school transport, application forms are available from County Transport (Tel 0845 606 6173).
Suffolk County Council have introduced an 'Endeavour Card' which will be available for 16 - 19 year olds.
This is a travel card offering 25% discount on some public service buses.
