On Friday 10 November 2023, Students were visited by the MP for Bury St. Edmunds, Jo Churchill, where we discussed topics of importance among the school community and the wider country.
These included subjects such as how Mental Health is a leading factor in the issues that young people face today, and how leadership can unify school communities, and help tackle issues faced by people in schools who would otherwise not have the ability to talk about them.
In all, it was an overall positive experience, with everyone there leaving with a far greater understanding of how good leadership can influence the overall experience of people within a school community such as our own. The Student Leadership Team strives for excellence, not just for the school, but for everyone in it, and will make a huge positive impact on it in the coming year.
