Exciting news! We would like to warmly invite your Year 6 child to join us at TCC so that they can get to know us, the College, and most importantly, their new fellow students!

Tuesday Club offers you a variety of sessions running from 15:45-16:45 across a five week period which you can book via the link below.

Please note that you can only book one session per week and for most subjects, the same session is repeated each week (with the exception of DT and PE) so choose wisely. Our bookings run on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sessions run on the following dates: 21 April, 28 April, 12 May and 19 May 2026 (there is no session on Tuesday 4 May).

Art: Street Art Fun (28 April and 12 May)

  • Are you interested in finding out more about street art?
    A fun collage and mixed media session where you will learn about the work of Keith Haring and work to produce a collaborative piece of artwork.

Design Technology

  • Wonderous Workshop (21 April and 12 May)
    What materials do you think we work with in Year 7, 8 & 9?
    A chance to get hands on in a workshop session.
  • Fantastic Food (19 May)
    How many different dishes do you think we make over the three years in Food Preparation and Nutrition?
    A chance to experience a Food Preparation and Nutrition practical.

English: Eager Explorers of English (28 Apr and 19 May)

  • Would you like to try a variety of activities in one session?
    A variety of fun English activities to find our word wizards, perfect poets and creative calligraphers! Set as a carousel, there will be something for everyone.

History: Dig School (21 April, 12 May and 19 May)

  • What secrets can you reveal from archaeological sites?
    Discover the secrets of several sites and work out the mystery that has puzzled historians for years. These sessions will get you close to the evidence and let you use your detective skills - what will you discover? 

Languages: J'adore le francais/me encanta el espagnol (28 April and 19 May)

  • Do you want to expand your French and Spanish skills?
    A fun introduction to language studies at TCC.

Maths: Artful Maths (28 April and 12 May)

  • Do you want to know how to draw an object that looks real at first glance but that can’t exist in real life?
    In this creative maths-art session, students will explore the fascinating world of impossible objects: using special isometric paper, we will learn how artists and mathematicians trick the eye by combining shape, space, and perspective to draw some classic impossible objects. You will then have the chance to design your own mind-bending creations!

Music: Build a Band (21 April and 19 May)

  • Do you think you could learn a band instrument in one session and perform with everyone at the end?
    You will be given mini workshops on instruments such as bass guitar, drums, ukulele and piano and learn a song to perform at the end of the session.

PE: Varied (Sporty) Sessions!

  • Hogwarts Here we Come (21 Apr)
    Would you like to be like Harry Potter?
    Learn to play Quidditch. 
  • Introduction to Kinball (28 April)
    Can you find out what Kinball is and how it differs from other PE activities?
    Indoor PE session to allow students to experience a sport that is popular in our KS4 Core PE lessons.
  • Cricket (12 May)
    Do you want to learn more about cricket?
    Experience the joy of cricket on one of our purpose-built sports spaces.

Quiet Session: Getting to Know You (21 April, 28 April, 12 May and 19 May)

  • Do you have any questions about joining TCC?
    We will begin with playing a game then follow this with a craft activity in a small group setting. Ideal for those who would like to ease their transition by starting off in a small group session where we will hope to turn some of those nerves into excitement!

Science: Sharpening Your Science Practical Skills (21 and 28 April and 19 May)

  • Are you curious about the Science of fire?
    In this session you will learn how to safely strike and use a match by carrying out a range of mini practical activities. Please make sure you come to the session with long hair tied back.

Student News: Breaking News - Lights, Camera, Action! (21 April, 28 April and 12 May)

  • Ever wanted to be a news reporter?
    Broadcast 'live' from our very own Student News studio as we create a special Tuesday Club report for TCC social media. If you don't want to be on screen, there are opportunities behind the scenes too!
